Novick Named President of Visual Basic Professional User Group

April 2, 2004 - For Immediate Release

Andrew Novick has volunteered to become Moderator and President of the New England Visual Basic Professional User Group.  The group focuses on educating it's membership in Visual Basic and related topics.  The current focus for the group is Visual Basic.Net programming.

NEVB Pro meets on the first Monday of every month at Microsoft's Waltham office at 201 Jones Road between the hours of 6:15 to 8:30.   Everyone is welcome.  No advanced notice is necessary to attend.  The group's web site is www.NEVB.com where you'll find the meeting schedule.

Andrew Novick is a software consultant, trainer, manager, and author with expertise in the construction of business applications using the Microsoft tools including VB.Net, C#, SQL Server and ASP.Net.  He's the author of Transact-SQL User-Defined Functions, published last fall by Wordware of Plano, Texas and co-author of SQL Server 2000 XML Distilled, now published by Apress.  In addition he's author of many articles about SQL Server and VB.Net programming.  He can be contacted at anovick@novicksoftware.com.
