The Problem:   Debugger hangs when starting an ASP Page

When starting to debug an ASP page, it hangs.  Symptoms are that the browser appears with a blank screen. The status bar indicates that it's opening: res://AxlRes.dll/CHTML/Index.html

Solution: Deinstall the Alexa toolbar

As the browser starts, it's trying to create the toolbars.  Something, causes the browser to hang as it's creating the Alexa toolbar.

The solution is to deinstall the Alexa toolbar.  You might try just turning it off but I had to remove it entirely.  The Google toolbar seems safe.
